Dental bonding is a type of cosmetic procedure that involves the application of a durable dental resin to reshape teeth. We will apply this tooth-colored resin directly to your child’s tooth, then sculpt and harden it until it looks like part of their natural smile. Bonding is typically used for cosmetic purposes but it can also be used to cover up issues like minor chips in the teeth, gaps in the smile, and small or misshapen teeth.

Next, we will apply a tooth-colored dental resin directly to your child’s teeth. Then, we will sculpt it into the proper shape, and harden it with a UV light. Next, we will use a dental drill to trim it down and refine its shape further, until the resin material looks just like a part of your child’s natural tooth. Then, we will buff and polish the tooth. This completes the procedure. It takes only about 30-60 minutes to treat each tooth with bonding.

Dental bonding is very affordable, so it’s great if you want to restore your child’s teeth but are on a tight budget. In addition, it is totally non-invasive. In many cases, numbing is not even required, as no natural enamel is removed during the process.
