Our Office in Rancho Santa Margarita

We designed our office with you and your family in mind. Our goal is to change the way kids and adults view pediatric dental care, so our space is equipped with amenities to comfort, entertain, and calm any nerves. Let your little one exert energy and explore in our play area before meeting with us. We’re happy to turn on your child’s favorite show once they’re in the operatory to help make their visit more enjoyable. With our TVs and headphones, your little one will be blissfully distracted. Don’t hesitate to let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your appointment more comfortable!

Welcoming Dr. Trina L. Melancon!

Dr. Trina L. Melancon, affectionately known to children as "Dr. Trina," completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University. She often describes herself as "the voice of the unspoken child," having dedicated years to observing and nurturing children's growth and development on every level. Her focus and passion revolve around recognizing the uniqueness in each child and creating an inclusive journey for their holistic engagement.

Dr. Trina has volunteered extensively in education, teaching the Art Masters program at the elementary school level, working in the front office at the middle school level for eight years, and currently serving as PTA VP of programs at the high school level. Her mission is to empower children to love and embrace their distinctiveness through positive influences, education, and preventative care. She often incorporates singing into her practice, engaging children with her nurturing vocal tones.

As a Leader in the Little Lambs Ministry at OLQA, Dr. Trina supports parents by caring for infants and toddlers. She is an active member of the AAPD, ADA, CDA, and OCDS. Recognized as a topDENTIST, she was selected to deliver remarks for the Pediatric Specialty at commencement.

Dr. Trina is the mother of four sons and enjoys creating expressive floral designs. She served on the Our Lady Queen of Angels PTO for 7 years and the Corona del Mar PTA for 4 years, further demonstrating her commitment to children's education and development.
